Get to Know Your Therapist:
Arthur F. Jimenez, LPC, BCBA
I’m Arthur F. Jimenez, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I specialize in working with individuals facing behavioral disorders, navigating neurodiversity, and improving relationships.
I have 14+ years of experience in the field and also provide support for those dealing with dual diagnosis, life transitions, psychosis, trauma, PTSD, developmental disabilities, and relationship challenges.
I'm passionate about helping people find insight and clarity so they can free themselves from whatever situation they may be facing, whether it’s something challenging or even something positive that’s hard to navigate. I take a direct, no-nonsense approach that helps build trust and allows people to hear what they need to hear when they’re ready.
Sometimes, the most powerful moments in therapy happen when someone discovers their own answers. In therapy sessions, I create a space where you can uncover those insights for yourself.
With clients, I often map out patterns of behavior to help you see how your choices connect to your challenges and how you can make meaningful changes. My approach is influenced by several methods, including behavior-focused techniques and exploring life’s different stages of growth.
I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. With over a decade of experience running my own ABA private practice, I bring a wide variety of diverse experiences to my work with clients.
Outside of therapy, I’m passionate about music, photography, and fashion. I find joy in attending shows, studying song lyrics, and exploring musical composition.
My philosophy as a therapist is simple: Change is possible as long as we are willing to look in the mirror. My role as your therapist is to hold that mirror, allowing your voice to emerge and guide you toward clarity and self-discovery.
Navigating diagnoses and life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but by seeking support, you've already taken a significant step. Whether you’re seeking guidance for yourself, your child, your family, or your marriage I'm here to listen and help you find your way forward.
