Hello! I’m Geoffrey Miller, a Clinical Therapist with RelationshipStore. I specialize in working with children and families, as well as couples therapy, addiction, stress management, eating disorders, and health psychology.

My journey into therapy began with working as a school counselor for 17 years. My experience includes leading a district-wide crisis prevention team and helping many young people overcome significant challenges, including stress, trauma, and grief. I hold a degree in Clinical Counseling from National Louis University and am a certified crisis specialist.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed firsthand how effective intervention can transform relationships and individual well-being. Having navigated my own challenges with anxiety and depression, and seeing the impact of focused intervention in both my life and the lives of my own children with special needs, I know firsthand the positive difference that therapy can make in people’s lives.

In my practice, I draw on a range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Gottman’s methods, and trauma-focused modalities. My style is practical and solution-oriented, aimed at empowering clients to resolve issues effectively and build stronger, healthier lives.

Outside of work, you can find me walking my dog, playing with my kids, or enjoying bike rides and camping trips. I’m passionate about learning new things, reading, and focusing on overall health. I also love listening to live music and watching nature programs, which help keep me grounded.

I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable and empowered to tackle their challenges. Through practical, evidence-based solutions and a touch of humor, I work to make the therapeutic journey as enriching and helpful for my clients as possible.

Together, we’ll work towards your goals, improve your life circumstances, and restore balance and happiness to your relationships. I look forward to partnering with you on this journey to a more fulfilling life.
